Planned Giving = Generosity that Endures!

Recently, several CSPP alums, former faculty and administrators, have chosen to make significant planned gifts from their estates to empower long-term support for well-deserving CSPP students and related causes.

And since we’re on the heels of National Estate Planning Awareness Week, we thought it timely to share a snapshot of their thinking below…

As the philanthropic partner to CSPP at Alliant International University, the Alliant Ed Foundation (AEF) is proud to offer this vehicle for giving back.
Just this month, CSPP-Los Angeles alum Dr. Ellen Glaser (class of 1982) created a new fund to support trainings for CSPP practicum students through the Foundation’s Mental Health Consortia and its semi-annual grand rounds.

Of all the skills she developed through her CSPP education, Ellen Glaser, PhD cherished her expertise at supervision of students and newly minted professionals. So when she decided to include CSPP in her estate plan, she began a discussion with AEF about how her planned gift might support the provision of excellent supervision to current CSPP students.

Just a handful of years ago, the late Dr. Kazumi Nishio left the single largest gift in the history of the university and foundation to endow ongoing support for the alums of the CSPP-Japan program.

The late Dr. Leslie Jackson and current Foundation Board Member Dr. Connell Persico have both made sizeable contributions or pledges to support future generations of students through targeted scholarship funds.

In short, these gifts can be transformational.  Often costing nothing during the alums’ lifetime, simple bequests through a will or estate plan can make a BIG difference in the lives of current and future students.

We thank and honor these generous donors and invite you to please consider joining them through our Legacy Society for Planned Gifts.
